The geographic laws examined should be regarded as the leading ones for the current stage of development of geographical science. The discipline’s provision with factual material, methods of qualitative and quantitative research, and the use of new technical tools allows for the continued advancement of physical geography theory in the future. The discovery of the presented geographic laws, as well as their interpretation and application in the interests of rational (optimal) environmental management, has become possible precisely now, at the present stage, owing to the active and prioritized implementation of the system-dynamic paradigm. The spatial-territorial paradigm continues to be applied when necessary, non-prioritarily, in relevant cases and natural conditions.
