Primary Care Management of Non–English-Speaking Refugees Who Have Experienced Trauma

Refugee patients frequently have experienced trauma requiring a directed history and physical examination, facilitated by an interpreter if necessary. Intervention should be sensitive to the refugee's cultural mores.
