The increasing coupling between the power system and the natural gas system raises the necessity of joint dispatch of two systems. This paper proposes a modified generalized Benders decomposition (GBD) method to solve the optimal gas-power flow (OGPF) problem without privacy reveal for the operators of the two systems. Compared with the conventional GBD method, it has sharply faster convergence speed by modifying the generating strategies of optimal cuts and feasible cuts. Compared with the widely used alternating direction method of multipliers (ADMM), it avoids issues of parameter-sensitivity and oscillation. Numerical tests of two cases indicate that the proposed modified GBD method calculates the OGPF in a decentralized manner effectively and outperforms other baseline methods in terms of convergence and efficiency.
