Precise lattice constants of germanium, aluminum, gallium arsenide, uranium, sulphur, quartz and sapphire

The lattice constants of germanium, aluminum, gallium arsenide, a-uranium, orthorhombic sulphm', natural quartz and synthetic sapphire have been determined to six significant figures by a precision single crystal X-ray mcthod.A comparison is made with previously determined values for these materials.
