Summary The minimum miscibility pressure (MMP) for a gas/oil pair can be measured within 1 hour with the rising-bubble apparatus (RBA). Development of miscibility between a gas bubble and an oil can be observed visually. The measurements of the MMP with the RBA compare favorably with those based on slim-tube experiments and predictions from phase-behavior studies.
