Advancements in the Internet of Things (IoT) have enabled the development of automated surveillance systems. This paper discusses a surveillance system that detects intruders and sends alerts. The system uses an ESP32-CAM module, a Passive Infrared sensor, and cloud services. When motion is detected, the system takes pictures. These pictures are sent to the Face++ AI to check if there is a person in the picture and to recognize their face. If the person in the picture is a user, no alert is sent to them. The system checks if the person's face matches any user by comparing it to a database of registered users. If the person's face does not match any user, the system considers it an intrusion. In this case, it sends a notification with the picture to the user who's away through the Blynk IoT platform. A buzzer also goes off to alert people nearby. All the pictures taken are stored in Supabase cloud storage. This allows users to access and monitor them later. The proposed system is an effective solution for security applications that need to work in real-time. This system uses Internet of Things technology to provide surveillance. The Internet of Things technology helps to make the system low-cost and effective. The system is designed to be affordable.
