Adjacent Fe Site boosts electrocatalytic oxygen evolution at Co site in single-atom-catalyst through a dual-metal-site design

In this work, we propose a unique reaction mechanism that the Fe site OOH serves as the auxiliary site to accelerate the formation of Co site OOH active species, hence accelerating the rate-determining step of OER.
