This article develops a conjectural map of the world that aims to visually summarise the geographic knowledge of the ancient Israelites. Its exegetical usefulness is demonstrated with three case studies, namely Gen. 10 (the Table of Nations); Ezek. 27 (Tyre’s trading partners); and Gen. 2 (the Garden of Eden).
