An archaeological evaluation, comprising 40 trenches each 30m long targeting geophysical anomalies and blank areas was undertaken to evaluate the archaeological potential of the Site. The result of the investigation found sparce archaeological remains. The dating evidence, where present, suggested a post-medieval origin within an agricultural hinterland.
