An archaeological Watching Brief was commission by SSEN on TP29 - TP36 in advance of a new cable running from St Fergus Power Station to Peterhead Power Station. Fieldwork was undertaken between 9th and 10th December 2024. The work took place in cold weather with low sun. During the watching brief only one artefact was recovered from the site. On further analysis this was a natural flint and therefore not of archaeological significance. No further archaeological features were encountered, therefore no further work is recommended.
