Abstract：Journal of Vocational Education (ISSN 3080-8049, eISSN 3080-8057, CODEN: ZDABBU, DOI prefix: https://doi.org/10.66106/zdabbu), an international academic journal published by Quest Press Limited, has recently been officially launched on Academia.edu, a world-renowned academic social platform, achieving bilingual (Chinese and English) full-text dissemination of the journal's research outputs. Academia.edu is a leading global platform for academic resource sharing and exchange, integrating literature management, academic social networking, and multidisciplinary resource aggregation. It has indexed over 40 million academic articles covering more than 270 disciplinary fields, with an average daily increase of over 100,000 papers. Unlike traditional database indexing, Academia.edu emphasizes interaction and collaboration among scholars, supporting researchers in following peers, sharing outputs, and tracking impact. This launch represents an important attempt for the journal to expand academic social dissemination channels, helping to enhance the international visibility of Chinese vocational education research and promoting online exchange and research collaboration between Chinese and international vocational education scholars. Adopting the gold open access (Gold OA) publishing model and complying with the CC BY 4.0 license, the journal provides permanent free access to all full-text articles. This article systematically introduces the core functions and social features of the Academia.edu platform, as well as the journal's basic information, academic positioning, and development vision, aiming to provide diverse academic dissemination pathways for global vocational education researchers.
