Employees are different from each other, and their expectations also differ. Hence, it is a challenge to identify different expectations of employees to make employees more satisfied and committed, and hence minimize turnover intention and job search behaviour of employees. This study was carried out to identify the predictors of job satisfaction and its relationship with employee commitment, Turnover intention, and job search behaviour. The design of the survey was quantitative using a structured questionnaire. The target group was managerial-level employees in the telecommunication sector in Sri Lanka. The questionnaire included relevant measures of all variables that were tested in previous studies. The results of factor analysis, correlation, and regression were used to identify the predictors of job satisfaction, and further, it was found that job satisfaction and employee commitment are positively related, and job satisfaction and turnover intention are negatively related, but there is a mediatory relationship between job satisfaction and job search behaviour. The main implication of this survey is the inability to generalize the findings to other companies in Sri Lanka due to the different attitudes of employees in different sectors. Hence, there is a future research opportunity to conduct the same survey among a very robust sample, including employees from different industries, enabling the generation of findings for employees in other industries in Sri Lanka.
