Resumen

There is a growing need for the development of next-generation enhanced radiation protection devices (ERPD) in the cardiac catheterization laboratory (CCL). We evaluated radiation exposure levels to various CCL members with standard (0.5 mm Pb equivalent thickness) and light lead (0.125 mm thickness) apron use with standard lead shielding and two novel ERPDs.
