Government financial schemes play an important role in improving financial inclusion and encouraging savings among people. This study focuses on the perception on the impact of government financial schemes on rural savings. The main objective of the study is to understand the level of awareness, participation and opinion of respondents regarding various government financial schemes. Primary data was collected through a structured questionnaire from selected respondents, and the data was analysed using percentage analysis and ranking analysis. The findings of the study show that many respondents are aware of government financial schemes and believe that such schemes help improve saving habits and financial security. However, some respondents face difficulties such as lack of awareness, complex procedures and limited digital knowledge. The study suggests that increasing awareness programs, simplifying procedures and improving financial literacy can enhance participation in government financial schemes and strengthen rural savings behaviour.
