Carbon-supported catalysts with atomically dispersed metal sites for oxygen electroreduction: present and future perspectives

This is a concise review focusing on two directions for the rational design of carbon-supported single-atom catalysts, i.e. modulating the electronic structure and increasing the metal loading.
