Tuning the active sites and optimizing the d-spacing value in CoFe-LDH by ex situ intercalation of guest anions: an innovative electrocatalyst for overall water splitting reaction

A facile strategy of ex situ guest anion incorporation into CoFe-LDH has been developed, in which the guest anion with the optimized concentration greatly enhances the OER, HER and total water splitting performance of the CoFe-LDH.
