Title: A Musical Manifesto: What if Beethoven were Arab? To the World, and to Music Lovers Everywhere, What if Beethoven had been Arab? How would he have reimagined his timeless masterpiece, "Für Elise," if he had breathed the air of Damascus and drawn his pulse from our ancient rhythms? I present to you a unique experiment in the "deconstruction and reconstruction" of global musical heritage. This work is a cross-cultural dialogue where pure Western classical legacy meets the profound depths of Arabic tradition—not only in melody and scales but in the very rhythmic heartbeat that moves the soul. In this reimagining, I did not merely dialogue with Beethoven; I chose to clothe him in an "Oriental Mantle" and grant him "Eastern Citizenship" as a tribute to his memory. I have subjected his familiar melodies to the sovereignty of the "Rast Suznak" Maqam, setting them to the vibrant pulse of Syrian "Maqsum" and "Laff" rhythms. Thus, the piece is transformed from the solemnity of closed concert halls to the boundless vitality of the folk spirit. This work is my gift to the soul of the titan of musical composition, Ludwig van Beethoven. It is an expression of my deep admiration for a legacy that never dies—a vision that refuses mere imitation, choosing instead to innovate, challenge, and assert its identity with boldness.
