This article examines the structural features of slang units in the Khorezm dialects of the Uzbek language. The study focuses on the classification of slang according to its structural organization and analyzes the linguistic characteristics of one-based, multi-based, and sentence-like slang expressions. The research demonstrates that slang units in the Khorezm dialects are mainly formed from already existing lexical elements, including borrowed words that acquire new expressive and evaluative meanings in colloquial speech. Using descriptive and structural analysis methods, the article identifies the main models of slang formation and reveals their functional role in informal communication. Particular attention is paid to the semantic and stylistic properties of slang units, as well as their emotional and pragmatic functions within dialectal speech. The findings indicate that one-based slang units constitute the most productive and widespread structural type, while sentence-like slang expressions reflect the figurative richness and communicative creativity of the dialect. The study contributes to the investigation of nonstandard lexical layers in Uzbek dialectology and modern sociolinguistics.
