Water oxidation by a noble metal-free photoanode modified with an organic dye and a molecular cobalt catalyst

A molecular catalyst-based, noble-metal free, dye-sensitized photoanode formed by co-loading a triphenylamine organic dye and a cobalt cubic catalyst on a TiO 2 thin film, and the resulting photoanode gave photocurrents above 100 μA cm −2 .
