A system is a complex object that attracts the attention of many scientists from different fields, they may be different depending on the context and goals of the study. This diversity raises many questions that are still difficult to find an answer to. Global systems representing a set of interrelated components of civilization and nature, which arose as a result of the activities of all mankind, are multifaceted and complex. Even simpler socio-economic systems force us to look for ways to solve the problems that arise in them, since they are influenced by a large number of external and internal factors. This topic is especially relevant at the present time, as the constant development of humanity brings changes to global processes, making the task of studying even more difficult. The purpose of this article is to identify problems in the study of the dynamics of socio-economic and global systems. To do this, it is necessary to understand the essence of systems and find the reason for the appearance of obstacles in their study.
