Structural Defect Theory of Failure v2. 2 is an audit-first framework for classifying failure as a structured breakdown between declared function, boundary conditions, observable or declared records, affected positions, failure pathways, execution substrate behaviour, and reviewable evidence. SDF v2. 2 does not claim that all failures are caused by structural defects. It does not classify persons, hidden intentions, hidden human interiors, moral worth, identity, dignity, clinical status, or legal liability. This release defines how failure-relevant claims should be bounded, recorded, classified, reopened, locally closed, escalated, left incomplete, or recorded as terminal non-closure without overclaim. The framework includes rules for first-instance events, open-bounded Sigma, local closure, Sigma-prime transition, material-change anti-circularity, provisional sunset handling, no-clean-timeout closure, governance terminal records, readout-delay handling, harm-dispute vectors, justification admissibility, execution-substrate continuation, trust-anchor boundaries, deployment responsibility coupling, record integrity, and adaptive-envelope width discipline. External references are included as contextual anchors, not as authority shields or proof of SDF. Governance axis: Peace / Non-violence / Dignity. Dual-use boundary: NO military / NO surveillance / NO coercion. Final axis: Audit-first / FACT-BASED / NO OVERCLAIM / NON-CIRCULARITY. This release includes MAIN, Supplementary Information, INSTALLME, RELEASETAG, SHA256 integrity record, detached signature files, and the PGP public key. No ZIP package is included.
