This article examines methods for evaluating the effectiveness of management systems, the specifics of the development of approaches to the effectiveness of management systems, their advantages and disadvantages. The main aspects related to existing approaches that can be used in the study of the state of communications enterprises are considered. The article proves that the prerequisite for the study of methods for evaluating the effectiveness of management systems of communication enterprises is a comparative analysis of the essence of the internal and traditional management system. Innovative management methods are one of the most competitive advantages of an enterprise aimed at continuous development and sustainable growth. Therefore, today it is very important to form an innovative management system in which the company will function extremely efficiently. Based on the research, the need to assess the effectiveness of enterprise integration within the value chain in order to increase the value of this chain is substantiated. The proposed concept differs from value added in that it goes beyond the internal organization of production. The value chain examines the processes taking place not only in the enterprise, but also outside it.
