Resocialization, social adaptation and social rehabilitation of minors: the essence and correlation of concepts

The article deals with the problems of correlation of the concepts of «resocialization», «social adaptation», «social rehabilitation of minors». The scientific research available in this part does not allow us to fully form a correct understanding of the presented phenomena. As a result of studying the Federal Law «On Probation in the Russian Federation» and other regulatory legal acts, the author comes to the conclusion that conflicts arise not only of a doctrinal, but also of a practical nature, which complicates the formation of a system of moral values among convicts and prevents their return to society as law-abiding citizens.
