Earlier research on attitudes has focused almost exclusively on the content off what people feel and think, not on how intensely they do so. This study investigates the effect off educational experiences on the attitudes off social work students toward the poor and suggests that such experiences may affect content and intensity off attitudes in different ways. Implications for social work education are discussed.
