Green is Assistant Professor of Political Science at Otterbein University in Ohio, where he teaches political theory and American politics. He has published articles in Historical Materialism, Postcolonial Studies and Rethinking Marxism, and he is the editor of Rethinking Gramsci (2011). He is also co-editor of the journal Rethinking Marxism and Secretary of the International Gramsci Society. He is currently working on a book-length manuscript that examines Gramsci's concept of subalternity.
