This paper aims to improve learning efficiency of high school students and to increase skills enhancement through the class activities of the modern history subject. The study had been investigated in the sixth year students during the second semester of the year 2016. The research investigation into two classrooms; they are 142 students. The research samples were randomized by the clustering method; 36 students were gathered from the two classrooms. The study had applied various research tools in order to collect data: survey form, assessment form, the 21st-century learning assessment form, SAS Curriculum Pathways and questionnaire for learning activities; however, these tools were verified by the educational experts. The main statistical analysis was IOC, t-test and PIN modified. The result shows that the post-test score is higher than the pre-test in highly significant; this also found similarly in the learning skill development.
