The detailed magnetic survey was carried out in two phases using a SENSYS MAGNETO MXPDA with 5 fluxgate gradiometers in 2022 and a SENSYS MAGNETO MX V3 with 6 fluxgate gradiometers in 2025. Both are cart-based systems with FGM650 gradiometers spaced 0.5m apart and readings recorded at 20Hz, which equates to a survey resolution of 0.5m by c.0.15m. The results of the survey revealed a number of archaeological features within the site including linear ditches and rectilinear and curvilinear enclosures in the north-eastern part of the site and three ring ditches, linear boundary features and pits in the southern part of the site. Two linear boundary ditches also cross the site. Elsewhere, anomalies lack a coherent morphology and cannot be confidently interpreted as cut features. A zone of shallow geology can also be seen in the south-western part of the site, and a number of linear and rectilinear anomalies within this zone have a morphology that could be considered consistent with cut features.
