Building the Field of Health Policy and Systems Research: Framing the Questions

Following the First Global Symposium Health Systems Research in in November 2010, PLoS commissioned three articles the state-of-the-art in Health and Systems Research (HPSR). Policy Forum articles, authored a diverse group of global academics, critically examine current challenges to the field lay out what is needed to build in HPSR and support local development and health systems, especially in - and middle-income countries.
