This study sought to examine the influence of Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) on students’ vocabulary development. The research employed an ex post facto experimental design with a post-test-only methodology, involving a sample of 34 twelfth-grade students from SMK Rosma Karawang. The participants were categorized into two groups: individuals who frequently played PUBG and those who did not. Data were collected via a vocabulary proficiency assessment and analyzed using SPSS 26 employing an independent samples t-test. The findings reveal that students who engaged in PUBG exhibited markedly superior vocabulary proficiency compared to their non-playing counterparts. These findings indicate that PUBG may serve as an engaging and interactive adjunct for vocabulary enhancement.
