The Press of Kyrgyzstan During the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945)

The article discusses the role of the national press in society during the Great Patriotic War. The role of the press is defined not only as the main source of information but also as the main tool for encouraging the general public to defend the Fatherland. Wartime was very hard and tense for the Soviet people. The people of Kyrgyzstan, like other nations, showed great courage on the home front and indomitable valor on the battlefield. Under such circumstances, it was necessary to morally support the people and raise their patriotic spirit.
