Effects of nonlinear terms in hydrodynamic equations on dynamical properties of fluctuations near the Benard instability are discussed. When the boundary condition is symmetric with respect to the horizontal plane bisecting the liquid layer, nonlinearities are shown to have very little effect upon the dynamics of fluctuations.
