Metric perturbations produced by eccentric equatorial orbits around a Kerr black hole

How does the spacetime geometry of a spinning (Kerr) black hole change when a much lighter mass orbits it in an elliptic trajectory in the equatorial plane? Combining analytic and numerical techniques, corrections to the metric as a function of the small mass ratio are reported.
