Youth and Political Change

In an attempt to understand the political behavior of young people, the authors of this study reported here have devised a score to reflect the extent to which young persons have changed from the political positions of their parents, traced the lines of political influence of their parents, peers, and mates, and examined the effects of youthful rebellion and mobility. The political behavior of young people is of particular interest both to social scientists and political practitioners.
