The editors, Krupp and Chatton, clinical professors of medicine at Stanford University, with 35 associated authors have succeeded in updating and improving this annual resume of medicine. Directed at an international readership, this volume contains an extraordinary amount of well-organized material aided by frequent graphs, tables, and a minimum of appropriate references.
