Rotary Ethics Manifesto for Artificial Intelligence in Service This document is a technical and methodological contribution to the ethical reflection on Artificial Intelligence within Rotary International (District 2041). It proposes an operational framework for Rotary Clubs adopting AI in their service activities, grounded in Rotary's core values and the Four-Way Test. The Manifesto sets out 18 operational principles, three priority pillars (truth and verification of information, human centrality, professional empowerment), an application checklist, a risk-classification matrix, a project-card template, and an explicit section on transparency and conflicts of interest. It is designed to be usable by a Club President without technical AI expertise, while remaining methodologically rigorous for specialists. References include the Rotary Manual of Procedure, the EU AI Act (Reg. 2024/1689), the GDPR (Reg. 2016/679), the OECD AI Principles, the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, and the UNESCO Recommendation on the Ethics of AI.
