Existing literature on organizational commitment and training suggest that there is a positive relationship between the two variables. However, most of the studies, are conducted in the domain of affective commitment. This study is designed to test the effect of single HR practice training and development on two dimensions of commitment (affective and normative) simultaneously in the mediation of perceived organizational support. The study adopted quantitative approach and data, were collected from nursing staff of public sector hospitals of Southern Punjab through questionnaire.
