The Plasma Control System (PCS) is one of the important systems in fusion experiments. The development of its control algorithm faces challenges such as complex parameter configuration and cumbersome multi-file management. To address these issues, this paper proposes an integrated development tool PlasmaX for the development of PCS control algorithms in the form of a Visual Studio Code (VS Code) extension. PlasmaX integrates a visualization module and a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)- driven intelligent question-and-answer module. It simplifies the understanding and operation of the PCS architecture through an intuitive interactive interface and automated tools, supports bidirectional editing synchronization and algorithm master file generation, and significantly reduces development complexity. The RAG-driven intelligent question-and-answer module combines domain knowledge retrieval and Large Language Model (LLM) reasoning capabilities to provide developers with technical support in the PCS field. Validation on five representative control algorithms demonstrates that the visualization module, driven by the template engine, can automatically generate an average of 79.4% of the total code, substantially reducing manual coding workload. These results indicate that PlasmaX effectively improves the efficiency and engineering level of PCS control algorithm development, and provides a new solution for plasma control system development.
