Ledderhose disease, or plantar fibromatosis, is a rare fibroproliferative disorder affecting the plantar fascia. Conservative management plays a crucial role in alleviating symptoms and maintaining function. This article explores the role of podiatric interventions, including custom orthotics, footwear modifications, manual therapy, and adjunctive modalities such as shockwave therapy. In addition, the role of regenerative medicine and the need for interdisciplinary rehabilitation strategies are discussed. Future research should focus on the efficacy of podiatric treatments and their integration into multidisciplinary care.
