More efficient means of repairing sucker rod pumps are discussed. Defects of plungers, cylinders, valve assemblies, and rods that appear under high loads and as a result of corrosive–abrasive wear and unstable hydrodynamic operation of oil wells are analyzed. The proposed technology for the repair of parts and components includes automated diagnostics of their condition, high-frequency inductive heat treatment, precision restoration of seating surfaces, wear-resistant coatings, and effective surfacing methods. That increases the life and reliability of the equipment and reduces operating costs.
