Should meaningful work be thought of as a distributive good? In this paper I defend the proposal that meaningful work be added to the list of distributive goods that social institutions and arrangements allocate, alongside more obvious candidates such as money, honours, and commodities (and hence that it be added to the list of goods to which principles of distributive justice are applied).
