The Search for Religious Metaphors in the Language of Education

The use of metaphor is a way of shedding new light on an already ex isting phenomena, by looking at and speaking about that phenom ena from a totally different perspective. In this way we obtain a transfer of meaning, and thus an opening up of awareness.
