The cost price is one of the main qualitative indicators for evaluating the efficiency of production. Therefore, a scientifically based calculation of the cost of seeded grass production is of great practical importance for agricultural organizations. In this regard, the article provides a critical assessment of the current method for calculating the cost of production of sown annual and perennial grasses. Three new methods for calculating the cost of production of annual and perennial grasses have been developed, from which any agricultural organization can choose one option for practical use.
