The Support of Continuing Medical Education by Pharmaceutical Companies

This communication is being started as I await a flight to New Orleans, where I am to give Medical Grand Rounds at the LSU Medical School later today. The expenses for my trip and an honorarium of 500 are being provided by the USV Pharmaceutical Company. These arrangements were made by the chairman of the department who wished to invite me.
