A CO oxidation catalyst based on TiO2 with additives of 10 wt % TiC0.2N0.8 and 10 wt % Pd has been synthesized. The catalyst has been studied by TEM, XRD, and XPS methods. The effect of UV radiation on the catalytic properties has been studied; long-term tests (100 days) have been conducted. It has been revealed that UV radiation leads to an increase in the CO oxidation reaction rate, a decrease in the activation energy for the reaction rate constant, and an improvement in the long-term stability of the catalytic properties. It has been found that the activation energy for the reaction rate constant is 23 ± 1 kJ/mol in the temperature range of 288–308 K in the presence of the catalyst exposed to UV radiation. The catalyst has high prospects for use in photocatalytic air purifiers.
