This paper analyzes the core characteristics of linear cultural heritage and explains the reasons for adopting the integrated approach of grand narrative and local expression in exhibition narratives. It explores how to utilize these two narrative techniques to present the characteristics of linear cultural heritage in museum exhibitions. The paper also points out that the balanced interweaving of the two narrative approaches can achieve complementary advantages, establish a relatively classic narrative paradigm for museum exhibitions of linear cultural heritage, realize a holistic and multi-dimensional interpretation of such exhibitions, and facilitate the inheritance and innovation of linear cultural heritage.
