This article analyzes the status, dynamics and trends of crimes directed against the life and health of state officials in the territory of the Russian Federation. The work is based on a comprehensive study of statistical data from official sources, including the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, the General Prosecutor’s Office, judicial authorities and information and analytical centers. The objective of this analysis is the state of crime, the identification of patterns in the development of criminal situation, the determination of factors that influence the dynamics of crime in this area, as well as the formation of scientifically based predictions about future trends. The results of the study are intended to contribute to the development of effective measures for the prevention and suppression of crimes against government officials, as well as to increase efficiency in law enforcement practice. Methodological research will serve both general scientific and specifically scientific methods of cognition. The formal-logical, sociological-specific, historical, dynamic, victimological, statistical and comparative legal analysis methods have emerged as specifically scientific methods. The main conclusions of the study are: Crime situation; dynamics and trends; factors of influence; socio-economic factors; informational-psychological factors, legal and organizational factors.The scientific novelty of this study is as follows: An integrated interdisciplinary approach, with simultaneous use of statistical data from various departments (the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Office of the Attorney-General, judicial bodies) and information and analysis centres. This provides a more complete and multifaceted picture that goes beyond single-source data analysis. The study aims to uncover not only apparent but also hidden patterns in crime dynamics against officials that may be invisible to superficial analysis. The results of the study allow to formulate scientifically sound recommendations for improving measures of prevention and suppression of crimes against government officials. The work contributes to updating the theoretical provisions of criminology and criminal law in the study of crimes against state power, specifying their subject area and methodological approaches.
