AbstractThe rehabilitation of partially and completely edentulous patients has undergone a paradigm shift with the advent of advanced implant prosthodontics. Contemporary implant systems not only restore masticatory efficiency but also significantly enhance esthetics, phonetics, and patient satisfaction. Recent innovations in implant design, surface modifications, digital workflows, and prosthetic materials have improved the predictability and longevity of implant-supported restorations. This review provides a comprehensive overview of advanced implant prosthetic options including treatment strategies for partially edentulous arches, prosthetic designs for edentulous patients, hybrid prostheses, the All-on-4 concept, and the Nobel Trefoil system. Additionally, factors contributing to implant failure are discussed. Current evidence suggests that while implant-supported prostheses demonstrate high success rates, their long-term prognosis depends on appropriate case selection, (8,9) meticulous planning, and maintenance protocols .
