Abstract The article presents information about the course on microcomputer applications in accounting information systems. The objective of this course is to develop indepth understanding on the analysis, design and implementation of microbased information systems. The course will include following topics Course Introduction:Microcomputer Hardware and Operating Systems; Integrated Software, Spreadsheet, and Graphic Reading; Telecommunication: Micro-Mainframe Links Reading; Local Area Network Reading; Selection and Evaluation of Accounting Software Reading;System Planning, Acquisition, and Implementation Reading; The course is required to have following reference materials.
