This presentation provides a brief overview of the infrastructure for Diamond Open Access (OA) publishing in Africa, focusing on existing solutions and services within non-for-profit publishing ecosystems. It analyzes the technical, editorial, production, and operational frameworks used by African publishers while highlighting current technical and operational challenges within the ecosystem. This presentation can be shared and adapted for training and strategic planning regarding open-access publishing infrastructure. It could also serve as a resource for supporting policy advocacy.
