The Astronomical Seal of Pentecost: Statistical Evidence of a Cosmic Signature in the Origin of Christianity

This document presents an astronomical and statistical analysis of the celestial events that occurred on the night of June 14 and the beginning of June 15, 29 AD, coinciding with the New Testament Pentecost. Starting from the chronology established by previous research (Vidal, 2025-2026), the occurrence of a total lunar eclipse in the constellation of Sagittarius visible from Jerusalem is verified. However, the central and new finding of this study is the detection of a close conjunction between Saturn and Mercury in the constellation of Gemini, occurring within the same time window as the lunar eclipse in Sagittarius. The combined probability that both astronomical events (each with its own independent orbital cycles) coincided on that exact night, additionally taking into account that it coincides with the liturgically calculated date based on agricultural observation, is 1 in over 92.349 billion. It is argued that this statistical improbability, together with the symbolic coherence with the biblical account (the ”Victorious Archer” and the ”Brotherhood of the Brethren”), constitutes objective evidence of intentionality, transcending chance and refuting the myth hypothesis.
